Story

Outside the walls of Thanalan, a poor young Xaela woman named Hollana lives in her mid-20s with no family or friends, but a strong will to survive. Her only source of income is mining ores from the region and selling them to blacksmiths during the day. At night, she sells some illegal items she may possess. She also trades tools and used gear with other merchants to make ends meet.Hollana has strange purple hair and eyes. Her arms and legs are muscular and strong enough to carry heavy sacks on her back. Her upper body is toned and muscular, just like the rest of her body. She has a generous chest that defines her feminine body. Most of her Xaela clothes are worn out from working, and the fanciest ones are just common clothes.Despite her will to survive in such harsh conditions, Hollana struggles with local bandits who rob her, especially Pachioux, an Elezen bandit who has known Hollana for some time and often steals her money. She also faces the rich and powerful merchants who fend her off from potential earnings during the day, especially the ones from Ishgard with mercenaries to deal with her in case she attempts to fight back.One day, while mining under the unforgiving sun of Thanalan, Hollana suddenly spots a tiny glowing red orb stuck on the wall. She gasps in surprise and looks around to see if anyone is spying on her. With her curiosity piqued, the purple-haired girl picks up the orb with both hands which was heavy and with some imperfections around the globe. Noticing the orb seems valuable, she takes double care to not let it drop on the floor. Suddenly, the orb sends waves and waves of Aether magic into her. She feels something strange inside her mind, as if her thoughts and feelings are expanding to the whole universe at once. Then, just as suddenly, she is back to herself as the orb simply vanishes from her hands. Hollana realizes that she has learned a powerful source of magic that grants her the ability to turn some people docile and completely empty-minded under certain conditions. Despite knowing how powerful this magic can be, Hollana knows this magic is a great opportunity to change her life.Now, Hollana seeks a better place to live, wants to get richer, have useful connections, and possibly achieve other goals to become a stable and better woman in the near future. And defeat Pachioux and become relevant to business around Eorzea.
